Several years ago I started noticing things like doll and model houses that were obviously meant to be used outside. I'm guessing it's sort of a lost folk art.

A Mill that might actually have worked.

This one wouldn't have worked outside so much. As well framed as it is, it's completely hand-built and hand-painted. The roof doesn't lift off, so it's NOT probably a doll houses.

This one isn't folk art at all. It's a steel building made by the Turner Toy Company of Dayton Ohio, probably over a century ago. Large enough for Large Scale. At one time an amateur brush-painted it blue, and a subsequent person painted it red. No way to know what color it originally was unless I bought it and went down through the layers.

Finally, a home-made merry-go round. The horses must have come from a factory - they're too even in shape and paint job. No sign of a mechanism, but it may have been taken off a platform or something at some point.
