Over the last couple of years, we've issued graphics (and Howard's instructions) for making seasonal structures in the style of century-old lithographed tinplate originals. These were scaled to work with "Indoor trains." The "S scale" version was the most popular because it looks better with most O gauge trains and accessories and with most holiday villages.
Some of our Large Scale (Garden Train) readers were jealous that we only did the Halloween and Christmas storefronts in "indoor scales," so I went back and made larger versions that are visually compatible with the buildings that garden railroaders traditionally use. In the meantime, I discovered several glitches that aren't noticeable on the small versions but would have been noticeable on the big versions, so I fixed those on both versions.
Though the title pages below show only the fronts of the stores, each building has four downloadable sides and roof patterns to make a 3-dimensional structure. Use your color printer and a bit of craft skills to make buildings for seasonal displays.
