Some of you may have noticed that all the messages seemd to have disappeared for a time. After a very long phone call ot GoDaddy, in which one person after another blamed it on something I did at my end, one person told me where to look for information about the site's linkage to the database that contains the forums and posts. It all looked 100% correct. But when I "updated" the file with the SAME information that was already there, it started working again.

That's a lot like when I type my password into a site and it rejects it, and I do the "forgot password" routine, then I type the same password into the password change field and it says, "You may not enter your current password."

I worked in the computer industry for about 35 years of my career, and heard lots of folks tell me that computers don't make mistakes.

Part of the problems is that the software this site runs on is about 10 years old, but I can't update it without starting from scratch. :-(

So it is what it is, for now at least!

Have a wonderful New Year!
